• Oakland point guard Kay Felder was drafted by the Cavs with the 54th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

The Cavs bought the pick from the Hawks.  Felder stands at 5’8/177 and like Isaiah Thomas before him, he has nice strength and is fearless with the ball offensively.  He hit 35.5 percent of his threes and a lot of them came off the dribble, and he plays tenacious defense bolstered by a 6’2″ wingspan.  He obviously dropped in the draft due to his height and the lack of quality opposition at Oakland, but especially if Matthew Dellavedova heads out in free agency we wouldn’t be surprised to see him make the roster and also make an appearance in the rotation during the season.
