Donovan Mitchell and Justin Jackson worked out with the Bucks on Friday.
After working out in Indiana on Thursday, both Louisville’s Mitchell and North Carolina’s Jackson made their way over to Milwaukee to workout with the Bucks the next day. Mitchell averaged 15.6 points, 2.4 three-pointers with 2.1 steals per game in his sophomore year at Louisville. He has a 6-foot-10 wingspan despite being 6-foot-1; dimensions that the Bucks will appreciate. Meanwhile, Jackson is 6-foot-8 at 193-pounds. He averaged 18.4 points with 2.6 three-pointers per game on his way to a NCAA championship. Donovan Mitchell is a top-12 pick in most mock drafts while Jackson lands at around the top-15. These ranges are just outside the Bucks’ 17th pick, but they will be on the lookout in case on of them falls to them. The Bucks obviously value length on defense and floor spacing to help guys like Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo operate inside and get to the hole.
