The Chicago Bulls had Donovan Mitchell as a participant in a group workout per Mike Scotto of Basketball Insiders.
ESPN’s Chad Ford has Mitchell going to the Hornets at eleven in his mock draft, but it is certainly possible that he’ll still be available to the Bulls at sixteen. The Louisville product is nearly half a foot shorter than projected lottery pick Josh Jackson but reportedly has a longer wingspan. Mitchell could give the Bulls somebody to build their backcourt around given that the team has not officially picked up Rajon Rondo’s option and that the other three younger guards were pretty ineffective in his absence during this year’s playoffs.
