Creighton center Justin Patton will be among the prospects who work out for the Heat prior to the draft, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Patton redshirted his freshman year before bursting onto the scene with the Blue Jays last year, averaging 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. The Heat will pick 14th and Patton is projected to be right on the edge of the lottery, so there’s a logical connection there. They could be looking at a replacement for Willie Reed, who is set to opt out of his deal this summer.
