After a roller coaster season, the Pacers have two picks this year and are looking for options as group workouts have begun. Indiana worked out the likes of Luke Kennard (Duke), Bam Adebayo (UK), London Perrantes (UVA), Ivan Rabb (Cal) and Terrance Ferguson (AUS). The Pacers tweeted out post workout interviews for each, talking about what they’ve been working on and how they may fit in Indiana. The common thread between these players (besides Kennard) is their position, they all played power-forward or center in college. Despite having Al Jefferson and Myles Turner under contract for next season, the Pacers may be looking to strengthen their front line in the second round with their pick at number 47. Kennard on the other hand is predicted to be a mid-first round pick and as Duke’s SG he plays a position of greater need for Indiana. The Pacers may be hoping he is still on the board when they pick at number 18. Kennard has been working on his strength and consistency during his offseason, and trying to show he can be a playmaker at the next level.
