Denver will select Kentucky’s Jamal Murray with the No. 7 pick.
Murray brings some much needed shooting to Denver’s front court. In his freshman year with the Wildcats he averaged 20 points, three treys, 5.2 boards and 2.2 assists while averaging 40.8% from deep. There are concerns about Murray’s quickness on the defensive end, but if he gets reliable minutes on the young Nuggets he could be worth a late round flier as a 3-point specialist.
