The Suns are hosting six prospects for a pre-draft workout on Monday, headlined by SMU forward Semi Ojeleye.
Phoenix owns picks No. 4, 32 and 54 and could be hoping that Ojeleye will be available to them early in the second round. He’s projected to go somewhere in the 20’s but started draft season as a guy on the edge of the lottery so a further slide isn’t out of the question entirely. Ojeleye boasts elite quickness and is a premier athlete who posted 19.0 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game for the Mustangs last season while shooting .424 from deep. The Suns will also host his teammate Sterling Brown, Dillon Brooks (Oregon), Josh Hart (Villanova), Davon Reed (Miami) and V.J. Beachem (Notre Dame). All are viable options for Phoenix in the second round.
