The Warriors are working out a group of six prospects tomorrow including Sterling Brown.
Golden State does not have a pick in the upcoming draft but that does not preclude them from buying one like they did last year to nab Patrick McCaw. Sterling Brown (who is the brother of former Lakers’ guard Shannon Brown) is the only prospect projected to be drafted (currently in the late second round). Brown didn’t garner much attention until his upperclassmen years where his 44.9 percent shooting on 3.9 attempts from deep as a senior helped him earn a spot on the AAC All-Conference Second team. The other players include Florida’s Canyon Barry (son of Rick Barry), Arizona’s Chance Comanche, Wisconson’s Bronson Koenig, Brown’s SMU teammate Ben Moore and Nebraska’s Tai Webster.
