Aaron Gordon hit just 2-of-8 field goals (2-of-4 FTs) for seven points, 10 rebounds, three assists and no defensive stats in 31 minutes of action on Friday against the Cavs.
This is the kind of low-end, late-round line that drives standard league owners crazy and cuts into his ROI for those following all the stash hype for much of the year. He has fluctuated between being a top 80-100 value over the last two months and if you stashed him since January or even worse in November and December — you’d have been better off not picking him up. He could very well go big during the fantasy playoffs and he has two more four-game weeks so he’s a definitive hold, but anybody telling you he has been a great pickup is gambling that he goes nuts during a very slim pair of weeks in the fantasy playoffs.
