Al Jefferson scored 12 points with four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 21 foul-plagued minutes on Friday against the Pistons.
Jefferson hit 5-of-10 shots and wouldn’t have played much more if he hadn’t been in foul trouble. He has averaged 21.1 mpg over his last seven games and he’s bringing back top 130-160 value (9/8 cat) in that span. He can probably improve on that but he has to get more minutes, and the Hornets aren’t exactly desperate to give them to him. It might be the case that he’s better in these short bursts.
