Arron Afflalo scored 15 points (5-of-15 FG, 5-of-5 FT) to go along with eight boards, two assists, one steal and one block, while Langston Galloway shot 3-of-9 from the field and 3-of-7 from the line to score six points, while handing out six assists with three steals in Sunday’s loss to the Pacers.
This is Afflalo’s highest scoring game in nearly a month and although he is not happy coming off of the bench, it is the right move for the Knicks to prioritize youth. Even if Melo, Porzingis and Calderon miss more time, Afflalo is not worth an add in any format. Galloway has gotten some more run with Jose Calderon on the shelf and he has responded with top-100 value over the last four on the back of 10 steals and 20 assists. Despite the okay week, Galloway will be hard-pressed to sustain even late-round value and can be left with Afflalo on the wire.
