Marcus Smart scored 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting (0-for-4 3PTs, 1-of-1 FTs) with five rebounds, four assists and one steal in 24 minutes off the bench in Monday’s blowout loss to the Clippers.
There was a whole lot of meh for the Celtics’ lower-end assets in this one. Kelly Olynyk scored eight points on 3-of-9 shooting with two threes, five boards and no steals or blocks in 23 minutes. Jared Sullinger with for nine and 11 with not much else, and Amir Johnson scored three points with five boards, one steal and one block in 19 minutes. Considering this was a blowout it’s probably a good sign that they all didn’t fall apart completely, and they can each still recover in weekly leagues with the Celtics playing four games this week.
