Clint Capela scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting with 10 rebounds, two assists and one block in Saturday’s loss to the Spurs.
Capela is checking in with low-end value for 14-team leagues to start the year, averaging 10.0 points with 7.7 boards and 1.8 combined steals and blocks. He is only hitting 31.6 percent of his free throws, after going 2-of-2 tonight, but the low 2.1 attempts per game isn’t killing his value like it could be. The big number to watch here is the 23.1 mpg — once that goes up toward 30 mpg out of necessity then owners are looking at top-75 upside. Until then it could be a bit of a bumpy road.
