David Lee double-doubled in his start for the resting Spurs in their 114-104 win over the Kings on Wednesday, scoring 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting with 10 rebounds and two blocks in 31 minutes.
Lee was great and took advantage of the Kings’ lack of organization all night. Jonathon Simmons scored 14 points with four rebounds, four assists and one three as the other big winner with Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge resting. There isn’t a lot of standalone value for either player but as the Spurs rest guys this is worth remembering.
