Devin Booker, supposed the team’s top scorer according to Earl Watson, played less minutes than new pickup Phil Pressey.
Booker scored 10 points on 3-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds and six assists in 24 minutes, while Phil Pressey scored six points on 2-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, five assists, one steal, three blocks, four turnovers and five fouls in 28 minutes. We were concerned about Booker’s value before Watson started looking like a very flaky coach, and we’d probably see this out a few more games but Booker’s owners should be on red alert. Pressey is not a fantasy option unless it turns out that Watson sees himself in Pressey and can’t stop playing him, and we’ll cross that bridge at a later time. Did we mention that Ronnie Price started at point guard and got 20 minutes tonight?
