Dragan Bender had possibly the best game of his career on Saturday, establishing a new career-high with 23 points with eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers while shooting 9-of-15 from the field.
Bender drew the start at center tonight and played 33 minutes. He’s made incredible strides from a disappointing rookie season and has been a top-100 player over the past two weeks. It seems like Bender is finally putting it all together, and it’s hardly surprising that it’s only taken some consistent playing time. His confidence has to be at an all-time high and now would be a great time to make sure that Bender isn’t available in any fantasy leagues. The Suns aren’t in any position to take minutes away from a promising second-year player, so we’ll see just how long he can keep this up.
