Evan Turner managed just one point with two rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Kings.
It sounds weird but the Kings’ second unit was attacking the Blazers’ offense defensively and Turner just couldn’t get going. After starting the year off fairly consistently as an expected late-round value, he has fallen off the wagon in the last two games with a combined six points, three rebounds and one assist on 2-of-13 shooting. He’ll be worth adding when he picks back up where he left off but he’s not a must-own player in 12-14 team formats. Shabazz Napier scored five points with two boards, two assists and one trey in 22 minutes and killed whatever momentum he had.
