Frank Mason scored 15 points on 4-of-6 shooting (1-of-2 from deep, 6-of-10 from the line) with two rebounds, two assists and three steals in 19 minutes off the bench on Wednesday against the Cavs.
Mason isn’t a great fantasy asset due to the lack of defensive stats but he has played well enough to pay attention to. The Kings aren’t going to turn him loose with De’Aaron Fox and George Hill around, but he has shown he can be a future starter in this league if he stays on his current trajectory. Fox just isn’t there yet for fantasy purposes, putting up six points, two assists and a steal over 29 minutes tonight, and as long as he’s playing heavy minutes with Zach Randolph that’s not going to change.
