Willie Cauley-Stein got 21 minutes in a start on Friday against the Magic, scoring 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting with six rebounds, one assist and one block.
Willie hit 4-of-4 shots from the line for good measure and he was yanked by George Karl to start the second half. We could nitpick a bunch of stuff he did wrong tonight, but it’s not like his teammates’ jerseys will be sent off to the Naismith Hall of Fame for their performances tonight. This may not even fall in the top-10 of crazy basketball decisions coming from the Kings’ bench this season, which more or less sums up a wasted season and they’re still in the process of doing further damage to themselves.
