Garrett Temple scored eight points on 3-of-9 shooting with three rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one trey over 30 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Bulls.
Temple and Ty Lawson (eight points, three rebounds, six assists, one steal, 23 minutes) are going to be the consistent late-round values for the Kings and in that order. Darren Collison (eight points, three boards, two assists) now has to deal with the Kosta Koufos/DeMarcus Cousins pairing in the starting unit and because the Kings have no identity on offense, his offense has gotten lost in the shuffle from night to night. He’s still a late-round value on the year and should be benched until he can figure it out. Matt Barnes (three points, three boards, 21 minutes) continues to struggle as much as any player in the NBA.
