George Hill did not score and put up just three rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes in the Kings’ 113-102 win over the Lakers on Wednesday.
Starting next to De’Aaron Fox (13 points, four rebounds, three assists, two treys, one steal, 23 minutes) and having the ball get dumped into Zach Randolph half the time when he’s on the floor — and having to operate with Randolph in the paint when he doesn’t have the ball — it’s not shocking that Hill disappears if no shots present themselves. Yes, he can probably force the issue but that’s not great basketball and it’s going to happen until the Kings optimize themselves. He’s still worth owning but he’s not without risk. Fox is a must-own player for his upside and current role, even if the efficiency hasn’t panned out.
