Greg Monroe scored 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting (7-of-10 FTs) with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in 28 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Knicks.
Monroe has been averaging 14.3 points, 6.5 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals, 0.5 blocks and 26 mpg over his last six contests. The big problem has been his free throw shooting at 43.5 percent on 3.8 attempts per game. He’s still bringing back top-100 value in that span despite that anchor and he’s a top-90 guy on the season despite seeing just 20.4 mpg per year. John Henson is in a lull and there’s probably some see-sawing here, but it makes sense for Milwaukee to showcase him and he should be closer to 25 mpg at a minimum if he’s not traded. If he is traded watch out and he’s an obvious must-own, buy-low guy.
Henson scored four points with six boards and two blocks in 20 minutes. He has been bad for about two weeks now and his season-long numbers aren’t great, just outside of the top-150, but he had to work hard to be ranked this low. Better times are probably ahead.
