Moe Harkless scored 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting (1-of-3 3PTs, 5-of-7 FTs) with eight rebounds, one steal and one block in Saturday’s 108-105 win over the Sixers.
Harkless has been creeping up into the standard league picture and when it was reported earlier today that he was probably going to stick in the lineup, all we needed was a good line tonight to make him worth an add in 12-team leagues. He’s not a must-start player even in the Blazers’ four-game week, but he’s the type of cheap pickup that can make a lot of sense at the end of rosters.
The same goes for Al-Farouq Aminu, who scored a career-high 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting with three treys, 5-of-5 FTs, eight boards and no steals or blocks in 35 minutes. The small lineups are helping both of them and Aminu is a cut above Harkless while carrying a bit of risk after his terrible month-long dive.
