Ish Smith hit 9-of-18 shots in Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets, scoring 21 points with two treys, two boards, five assists, one steal and six turnovers.
Smith is getting the popcorn numbers that owners need for him to hold up his end of the bargain and he has been pretty good shooting the ball lately, hitting 48.6 percent of his shots over the last seven games. Ultimately he profiles as a top-150 guy in 9-cat leagues and a top-110 player in 8-cat formats. If he goes cold he can be tough to hold and in 9-cat leagues he might be somebody to pass on unless you’re punting turnovers, but while he’s playing like this he should be owned in most 12-team leagues.
