Jae Crowder delivered 14 points on Tuesday night, adding four rebounds, three assists, three 3-pointers and a pair of steals as the Jazz rolled through the Pistons.
Crowder actually hasn’t been terrible since joining the Jazz but remains outside the top-250 over the last month. He’s inside the top-200 over the last two weeks, however, largely on the back of increased 3-point output, low turnovers and modest scoring. The steals tonight were a nice sign, and him improving on his lowly season average of 0.7 per game would go a long way towards cementing his appeal in 16-team formats. Since the game was rife with garbage time, Jonas Jerebko was able to shake loose for 16 points, eight boards and three triples of his own in only 19 minutes. JJ’s always had a fun stat set but just doesn’t get enough playing time to show it beyond these sporadic outbursts.
