Jamal Murray started and scored eight points on 3-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds, three assists and zero money counting stats in Wednesday’s blowout loss to the Rockets.
If it makes his owners feel any better Emmanuel Mudiay managed just one point and three assists in 25 minutes. Obviously the loss of Paul Millsap is going to make things a bit odd, but this is a log-jammed team that should theoretically be fine losing a piece and they simply got run by a superior Rockets squad. We’ve covered Murray enough around here for folks to know — the mid-round pick on draft day had a late-round ceiling due to his stat set. That said, he should continue to be a late-round value and Millsap’s injury only helps that cause. He might plod his way to a top-100 finish, too. Mudiay is worth a look in 14-16 team formats.
