JaMychal Green scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, three assists and one steal in the Grizzlies’ 101-87 loss to the Spurs on Monday.
Green did well to maintain some low-end value for 12-team leagues amidst the backdrop of terrible Grizzlies play. Lance Stephenson went full Lance Stephenson with six turnovers, four points, four rebounds and three assists in 21 minutes, and that can happen when you put him in charge of a bad team against a really good team.
Matt Barnes survived with 11 points, nine boards, three assists, two steals and one three, while Tony Allen played just 17 minutes with four points on 2-of-8 shooting, zero boards and two steals. We’ll be watching to see if that terrible line for Allen comes with any news of an injury or general fatigue. Jordan Farmer (nine points, three rebounds, two assists, one trey, 26 minutes) showed why he’s a hard guy to deploy because any slippage results in nights like these.
