Jared Sullinger scored nine points on 4-of-13 shooting with 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block over 29 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Jazz.
It’s not surprising that the Jazz slowed the Celtics’ frontcourt and Sullinger had the best night of all of them. Amir Johnson had just two points, one rebound and two steals, but he’ll still have a somewhat shaky late-round grade going forward. Tyler Zeller picked up some of Kelly Olynyk’s minutes, but managed just four points and six boards with no defensive stats. Sullinger and Johnson will see their floors lifted by Olynyk’s multi-week absence, and we’re calling Sullinger as the primary beneficiary even if Brad Stevens can change it up on us relatively quick.
