While talking with Brian Lewis, Nets coach Kenny Atkinson mentioned Jarrett Allen playing the four spot.
“We have to look at all options. Jarrett’s played some four. It’s not perfect because of the shooting…but we could look at it at times.” This is encouraging news for Jarrett Allen, despite it coming on the heels of why in-season acquisition Jahlil Okafor was not seeing more playing time. Any way that Allen can get on the floor is great for his value due to what he can provide with rebounds, blocks, and field goal percentage. Allen has flirted with being owned in standard leagues at times and currently sits just outside top-150 value in only 18.2 minutes per game. If he gets any increase in minutes he should see his value rise with it. With no expected change in Okafor’s playing time he can be ignored as usual.
