Jerian Grant scored 14 points on 6-of-15 shooting with two threes, one board, two assists, two steals and one block in 27 minutes off the bench in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.
This game didn’t turn into the stat factory that Kings games usually are and he still did well to produce and stand out. Jose Calderon (ankle) played 33 minutes and put up three points, three boards, four assists and one steal, and Langston Galloway was quiet with 23 minutes, six points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal. We’re not sure if this frees him up for future production and he has some stat set deficiencies, though one wouldn’t know it by tonight’s output. There will need to be a clear passing of the torch to get excited about Grant or Galloway, but owners should be watching closely.
