Joe Johnson played 31 minutes but one wouldn’t have known it in the Nets’ 91-78 home loss to the Cavs on Wednesday, as he hit just 1-of-7 shots for three points, one rebound and one assist.
Johnson made his field goal count as a 3-point bucket but let’s stop beating around the bush. He’s a top-160 play in 8-cat leagues while hitting just 39 percent from the field and his 9-cat value is in the crapper. It’s hard to get behind a massive efficiency increase as he plays on a bad team with no depth. If you need to drop him for a hot free agent you have our blessing, even if he has some upside himself in the event he gets a wild hair up his ass and tries to be a top-100 guy for a month or so.
