Unsurprisingly, Atlanta’s collection of frontcourt talent was paced by John Collins and his 18 points (6-of-7 from the field, 6-of-6 from the line), nine rebounds and a block in a 105-95 loss to the Pacers.
Collins is pretty obviously the long-term solution for the Hawks, so look for him to stick around the 27 minutes he saw tonight for the rest of the year. He needs to be added in all leagues. In the interim, Ersan Ilyasova should still be a late-round play (10 points, five rebounds, one triple in 26 minutes tonight) since his starting job won’t be in jeopardy until Dewayne Dedmon returns, but that’s coming up in the next week or two. Miles Plumlee played just 21 minutes (10 points, five rebounds, one steal, two blocks) but is only an option in very deep formats while Luke Babbitt went scoreless in nine minutes and Tyler Cavanaugh has returned to racking up DNPs.
