Jordan Hamilton will sign a 10-day deal with the Pelicans according to the Vertical.
Hamilton has flirted with late-round value in previous stops with the Rockets and Nuggets but hasn’t been able to stay consistent. Then again, he hasn’t had a wide open chance to make an impact quite like this. The Pelicans have a pair of four-game weeks upcoming so if he can get another deal he’ll have a nice stretch here to be productive, and unlike some of his new teammates he likes to produce in the box score.
In 60 games for Houston, his largest sample size for mpg, he scored 6.7 points with 3.2 boards, 0.7 steals and 0.3 blocks in 17 mpg. He hit just 39 percent of his shots that year but has hit 40.5 percent over his career. For the Pelicans he could be a triple-one threat with decent points and boards to go with inefficient shooting.
