Josh Richardson scored six points on 2-of-7 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds, three assists and one block in 33 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Sixers.
The Heat took it easy in their win and that’s some of the reason for the big minute total but Richardson has proven that he belongs all season and his focus on money counting stats has kept him at a late-round value for a month now. Over his last nine games he has averaged 7.4 points with 1.0 threes, 2.8 boards, 1.1 steals, 0.8 blocks and 48 percent shooting from the field. That’s good for top 110-140 value (9/8 cat) and given his 26 mpg over that span owners would be correct to hedge and call him a deep league asset.
