Josh Richardson scored nine points on 4-of-7 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, two assists and steals in 27 minutes off the bench on Tuesday against the Bulls.
Richardson is returning top 90-110 (9/8 cat) value over his last seven contests, averaging 7.9 points to go with 0.9 treys, 2.6 boards, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks with 55.6 percent field goals shooting and 81.8 percent foul shooting. He continues to impress onlookers and reporters and his role is so narrowly defined that it’s possible the money counting stats keep coming. It’s hard to advise a hold or an add in 12-team leagues for a guy with such a limited role, but he has a puncher’s chance in eking his way to a late-round value. That said, he’s much better suited to 14-16 team formats where his value and upside can be fully realized.
