Julius Randle was the only Lakers player to survive in their blowout loss to the Spurs on Thursday, scoring 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting (6-of-7 FTs) with six rebounds, five assists and one steal.
The key for Randle here was the foul shooting and zero turnovers — two issues that have sunk an otherwise fine fantasy season. He has started to turn it around though and is a solid top 80-115 value on the year (8/9 cat) and a top 60-70 value in the last month. He has nice potential in Luke Walton’s uptempo offense. Luol Deng (three points, two assists, one steal, one three, 19 minutes) and D’Angelo Russell (nine points, three assists, one steal) shouldn’t be measured tonight, but Nick Young (eight points, 14 minutes, two threes) has been a concern of ours for a few weeks. We’re not calling Young a must-own player, while Jordan Clarkson (14 points, three assists) is in our book.
