Justin Anderson started and scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting (including a three) with nine rebounds, two steals and one block in 29 minutes on Wednesday against the Knicks.
We thought Anderson would be locked into these minutes and he did well, and we also thought the absence of Kristaps Porzingis might hinder Dwight Powell’s minutes and that’s what happened. Powell managed just two points on 1-of-6 shooting and four rebounds, and he can be pitched back to the wire if you added him on a one-game flier. David Lee went for six and six in 14 minutes and Zaza Pachulia went for six and nine with a steal in his 19 minutes, and we like Lee if we’re gambling on a Dallas big going forward. Anderson can be owned until he slows down, but keep in mind that Rick Carlisle will have a quick hook with all of them.
