Justin Holiday started with Derrick Rose (groin) out on Friday against the Heat, scoring 14 points on 6-of-15 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 38 minutes.

Holiday has shown flashes of production in very limited occurrences prior to this run with the Bulls, but he has clearly carved out a niche and if the Bulls really start to falter that niche could start to resemble the Will Barton experience in Denver.  You’re adding him for short-term potential and the side bonus of flier potential on the long-term side, but owners have to know he could be buried in the rotation at any time.
