Justise Winslow missed all nine of his shot attempts and finished with one point, five rebounds and five assists in 29 minutes of action in Thursday’s loss to the Hornets.
The Heat had to deal with a banged up Goran Dragic and a disengaged Hassan Whiteside (eight points, 10 rebounds, two blocks) — and along with the Hornets’ handful of defenders that match up well — Winslow was primed for this sort of dud. He will do better with his efficiency as the Heat stay healthy, but regardless he needs to be owned in 12-team standard formats even if they are not. It’ll get ugly at times but the end result should be late-round value with upside beyond that.
