Kelly Oubre was a big difference-maker off the bench on Monday evening, delivering 32 minutes of effective ball with 16 points (7-of-13 shooting), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three.
Oubre, ever the fan favorite in Boston, made a big impact in this one. The Wizards ran his minutes up as they closed with a smaller lineup and he and his three offensive boards were part of a big effort in that department. Washington yanked down 14 offensive rebounds in this one, and those extra possessions either got them second chance points or salted the clock once they took the lead back in the fourth. He’s someone that needs to be owned in 14-team leagues at minimum, and Oubre’s ability to post lines like these somewhat frequently makes him an acceptable play in standard leagues.
