The Knicks and their three-headed monster at point guard continued to scuffle on Sunday, with Emmanuel Mudiay providing the best line of the bunch on 13 points, five assists, two steals and a triple on 6-of-13 from the floor.
It was on pace to be much, much worse as Mudiay’s day was saved by a personal 9-point run in the third quarter. He hit two contested mid-range shots and rattled home a three so don’t get used to it. Despite getting big minutes as a starter, his atrocious percentages and turnovers (although he had just one today) have left him outside the top-300 in 9-cat leagues over the last month so stay far away unless you’re starving for points and dimes. Frank Ntilikina played 32 minutes in another start at shooting guard with 11 points and little else while Trey Burke scored 10 points in his 15 minutes. Good luck to you if you’ve gotten yourself wrapped up in this rotation.
