Kurt Rambis said on Wednesday night that the organization and the players talked about cutting down minutes for main guys and increasing minutes for role players and young players.
This sounds like a mess and we’re not sure Rambis doesn’t mean something like shaving 2-3 minutes per game and giving them to Sasha Vujacic. The good news here for owners is that the kids, namely Jerian Grant and Langston Galloway, need 30-plus minutes before they become viable fantasy assets due to their stat set limitations. This is a ride owners don’t need to jump on until it’s much more apparent that things are heading in the right direction. It is, however, a bit of bad news for owners of Carmelo Anthony and Robin Lopez.
