Kobe Bryant (shoulder) played his last game in Phoenix on Wednesday, scoring 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting (3-of-8 3PTs, 4-of-4 FTs) with three rebounds, two assists and one block in 28 minutes.
If there was ever a time to take a chance on Kobe it will be during the next 11 games. Owners will have to be glued to the Hoop Ball news page and a punt field goal percentage build is probably necessary. But after a DNP or two or three, he could be ready to blow the engine out and his teammates are going to defer to him. No risk, no reward. Or so the legend goes.
