Shane Larkin and Sergey Karasev will be moved into the starting lineup as the Nets go young down the stretch.
Larkin backers are hoping that he can flip a switch and start producing at least moderate low-end numbers with this type of move. Donald Sloan can be dropped unless you can afford to stash for his category-specific production in the upcoming five-game week, and even then if this move is designed to get these guys to near 30 mpg then he’ll be a drop guy in most cases.
Wayne Ellington is reportedly going to get less minutes so owners can move off of any position including him. Karasev is a total crapshoot that late season fantasy pushes are made of, but he might not be good enough to make it happen. We’ve talked at length about holding Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and he looked healthy in his 15-minute stint on Tuesday. The five-game week is the target here. Sean Kilpatrick is gunning in the second unit and could really shine next week.
