Luke Babbitt scored 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes off the bench on Saturday against the Raptors.
We kid a lot with the Luke Babbitt alerts but all kidding aside he has produced top 155-170 value (8/9 cat) over the last four games, averaging 29.2 mpg with 13.3 points, 1.3 treys, 4.8 boards, 1.8 assists and 0.5 steals per game. He loses value in the defensive stat categories and that’s not changing anytime soon, but with eight games in two weeks the current production translates more like a top-125 guy. That’s must-own territory in 12-team leagues if he hits that mark and if you’re worried about duds, that valuation has one of those factored in after he hit 1-of-8 shots on Thursday with not much else to show in the box.
