Luke Babbitt made it two solid games in a row in Monday’s blowout loss to the Warriors, scoring 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, one assist and two steals in 35 minutes off the bench.
Babbitt logged 38 minutes on Saturday against the Bucks and put up 16 & 9 with three assists and a steal to go with a three. He’s not shooting a ton from beyond the arc, with just 2-of-7 makes contributing to these scoring marks. Norris Cole’s eventual return could cut him out of the standard league picture altogether, but in New Orleans where they’re all-but ready to tank he makes an interesting speculative add/stash. Just don’t cut anybody of value to figure out where the Luke Babbitt hype train ends.
