Malcolm Brogdon scored 13 points on 3-of-6 shooting (1-of-2 from deep, 6-of-6 from the line) with six rebounds, five assists and two steals over 30 minutes in Friday’s win over the Heat. .
Brogdon won’t get such easy competition all the time but he has been getting it done for a few weeks now. We wouldn’t rule out the type of split we saw tonight going forward between he and Matthew Dellavedova (nine points, 1-of-5 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs, one three, two boards, eight assists, 18 minutes). Delly is still recovering from a hamstring injury and he could easily rise up to 22-25 mpg while Brogdon keeps this type of role, and he’s used to coming off the bench and probably doesn’t have a problem with it. Brogdon is a must-hold player and we like his chances of keeping late-round value.
