• Salah Mejri played just 16 minutes in another start on Friday against the Warriors, scoring one point with three rebounds, one steal and two blocks.

The defensive numbers give you an idea of his upside and if we knew that Zaza Pachulia (12 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, 25 minutes) had any juice in him we’d have had Mejri on benches tonight.  He’s just not a good fit against the Warriors. This game wasn’t very close but the Mavs kept it semi-close and there was no defense involved, so the whole team was stocked with big lines.

Owners can ignore lines from Dwight Powell (five points, seven boards, four assists), Charlie Villanueva (16 points, four threes, five rebounds) and Justin Anderson (10 points, two threes, three boards, three assists, two blocks).  We’re not racing to add Pachulia and we’re holding Mejri because of his per-minute upside.
