Michael Beasley scored a season-high 30 points on Saturday against the Hawks, hitting 12-of-18 shots (6-of-6 FTs) with nine rebounds and no other stats in 28 minutes.
The metrics aren’t there for standard leagues and there are all sorts of reasons to fade his production, but he simply won’t stop having productive performances regardless of the flaws. The regression potential here is off the charts and even if he gets 30 mpg, that could all topple his value. But we’re done with the caveats at this point and we’re fine with owners making an add if they understand the risks. He has a four-game week to do some damage before slipping into a pair of three-gamers.
