• Michael Carter-Williams scored nine points on 1-of-10 shooting (7-of-7 FTs) with six rebounds, five assists and five turnovers in a start for Kemba Walker (shoulder) in Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors.

Folks will glom on to the field goal shooting and rightfully so, but Carter-Williams has averaged 6.7 points, 0.7 treys, 3.5 boards, 3.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks in 19.3 mpg over six games.  The takeaway is that if he ever gets minutes he can probably be a late-round value and that’s more than anything most of us expected this season.  He is only worth a look in very deep leagues right now.
